We met up at 9:00 AM on Marco Island, FL, and got everything set up. I could tell Drew was excited to try his hand at some of the different fishing techniques we had planned – jigging, bait casting, heavy tackle, light tackle, and surf casting. With the clear conditions and great water quality, I had a good feeling we were in for a productive day.

Though we didn't manage to land any big catches, we still had a blast out on the water. I took Drew through the different techniques, showing him how to work the rods and set the hooks. He picked it up quickly and was soon casting with confidence. We talked fishing, swapped stories, and just enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect way to spend a morning on the water.
